Something has been bothering me.

It concerns a link between ADHD and eating foods that are high in carbohydrates.

I have just read a news report on AOL that talks about high blood pressure and the brain. The link to that story is here: http://news.aol.co.uk/brain-cause-of-high-blood-pressure/article/20070414200809990027

Now that isn’t such a big surprise to me. You see, on my free diet website at www.lowcarbjohn.co.uk there are links to various bits of information.

One of which is that doctors at Great Ormond Street Hospital are using a type of low carb diet to treat children with seizures.

They have had some amazing results. An obvious hint to a link between the brain and carbohydrates. Similar reports are surfacing with relation to carbohydrates and alzheimers.

So, since the 1980’s we have been brainwashed into thinking that we should be eating low fat foods. The problem is, that if you look at the info label on low-fat items, it’s nearly always high in carbs! Since the mid-eighties, there has been an undeniable increase in ADHD, requiring medication for control.

I believe that the answer has been in front of us all along, it’s the carbohydrates.
